The clear weather continued, accompanied by frigid temps, but the finals went off in front of hardy spectators. The final venue, for Day two was helicopter access only, and the top 7 women and 20 men were taken to the top. “The snow was a little thin and punchy there but made for an exciting final,” said Wright. ‘This is hands down one of the best venues on the tour, and Revelstoke is so supportive of the athletes. It has been freezing here, but people still came out to support the athletes, which is great. Organization has been amazing and the Revelstoke ski patrol is wonderful.” —Brigid Mander
