It was the kind of day where it was better to be in the backcountry. So I met up with Salomon athlete Kim Havell and friends to go for a tour in the Telluride backcountry. Turns out she had the Quest 12 in my size to take out for a test drive. I thought to myself “Cool! I love testing out new boots, not fit to my feet, while trying to keep up with a bunch of locals in their backyard. Let’s do this!” (continued next slide)
