Moab, Utah, and its surrounding climbing, biking, and paddling, is the classic desert mud season trip from Colorado and Utah. If you don’t want to run into all of your Breckenridge bros on the Slickrock trail, head to nearby Fruita, Colorado, which is usually slightly less Hollywood.
