Resi Stiegler (pronounced Ray-cee) grew up in Jackson Hole—her dad is Pepi Steigler, a former Austrian alpine racer and Olympic champion who owns multiple ski shops in the Jackson area. Resi followed in her dad’s racing heritage, joining the U.S. Ski Team as a teenager and getting her first World Cup start in 2002, at age 17. She competed in the 2006 Olympics in Torino, but was injured during the 2010 Vancouver Games.
