I have known Ingrid for over ten years now and it's pretty awesome to see that although she has become the best female big mountain skier in the world, she has still kept her amazingly humble self. I can just see her blushing from reading this. There are so many great qualities she posses outside of skiing, from being a mean chef and baker—she baked my wedding cake for 250 people, plus was a bridesmaid—to reading every good book out there, to keeping up on the news, and the list goes on. It's easy to forget how big she is in the ski industry as she never talks about herself in that light. She could be on the cover of a ski mag and I would have to see the magazine to know she got the cover shot. She's one of my favorite exercise partners as well as ski partners as her really fast, smooth style challenges me to continue to progress in my own skiing. I will never forget her line in MSP that was later used—by an oversight of the company—as part of Hugo's segment in the 2004 Helly Hansen movie, “Happy Happy.” If being mistaken for Hugo skiing isn't the ultimate compliment I don't know what is!"-Jess Sobolowski
