2010 Arc'teryx Sabre SV
Technically, The Sabre SV uses Gore-Tex Soft Shell, but it’s water- and windproof and fully featured, so we lumped it in with the hardshells. Designed for resort and sidecountry skiing, it has an adjustable powder skirt, pit zips, and a helmet-compatible storm hood. The two large front pockets provide plenty of storage and the wide cuffs fit easily over gloves. Because the underarm fabric is gusseted, the hem won’t rise when you lift up your arms.
