Atomic M-Tech M 100 (2008)
A snug lower shell provides solid foot contact and good feedback for quick edge setting, and enough power to handle broken snow. The upright stance worked better for cruising than aggressive turning, but the grippy sole provided tons of traction for hiking.

Medium heel and ankle, medium to high instep, high-volume toe box. The cuff is roomy enough for large calves.
