Atomic Metron 11 B5 (2007)
The 11 is a more relaxed version of the Metron B5. It has a bigger turn radius and is a more versatile all-condition ski. Double-lobed Beta construction masterfully transfers pressure evenly along the edges for tenacious bite. gripes: A bit hooky in junk and powder. props: No one-trick carving pony, the Metron also cruises with power and stability. tester’s take: "It sinks its teeth in and doesn’t let go." —Mike Britt
