Dalbello Proton 8 (2008)
We think Dalbello’s Proton series—all four-buckle overlap boots—is the brand’s best-performing design family. The Proton 8’s 101-millimeter forefoot width is plenty comfortable for all-day skiing. Its softer forward flex, though, is better suited for laid-back cruising.
Bootfitter's Take
Tall cuff; medium heel; high volume everywhere else. The fit is similar to Proton 12’s, but the softer liner and wider last give this boot a higher-volume feel.
PRICE (MSRP): $450.00
