Laminate construction and a relatively narrow waist impart a racelike feel, not to mention maneuverability and ferocious edge bite on harder snow. Wide enough to bust crud or float in boot-deep powder. gripes: Not wide enough to float in deep powder. props: As speed-hungry and stout as a GS race ski but much more forgiving. tester’s take: "A great balance of zip and dampness.
