Fischer Watea 101 (2007)
The Atua’s easy-skiing big brother has an incredibly light feel despite its large dimensions. It’s terrifically maneuverable and easy to ski. And true to Fischer’s race roots, its hard-snow edge hold is awesome. gripes: As with the Atua, high speed on hard, bumpy snow induces speed wobbles. props: Perfect for a laid-back powder skier: loves to fly a few notches below top speed. tester’s take: "Cruises through powder and variable snow and carves on the hardpack." —Billy O’Donnell
