Black Diamond Starlet (2012)
Black Diamond's Efficient Series includes seven skis of varying widths and rocker/camber profiles that share the common goal of remaining light (for ski touring) without sacrificing too much of the stoutness needed for downhill stability and power. The Starlet is the do-it-all women's board of the Efficient Series, but it's certainly more of a soft-snow ski than anything else. It's made for AT skiers who want to have legs left at the end of a day of skiing backcountry powder laps. Features a 100mm waist and rocker in the tip.
