Blizzard The Answer IQ Max SLIDER (2010)
These aren’t pretend fat skis for the mini-golf crowd. The wide, round tips are stiff, giving the whole ski confidence at high speeds and during fast, long turns. Blizzard’s IQ interchangeable binding system (available on most of their skis) allows you to slide touring bindings in for a backcountry lap and change them with nothing but a Posidrive. Plus: All that, and it grips hardpack, too. Minus: Hard to initiate turns at lower speeds.
PRICE (MSRP): $925.00
