Blizzard Titan Argos IQ MAX slider (2010)
Though it’s among the category’s widest skis, its size isn’t overpowering. Large and small testers found it soft and forgiving in all terrain, yet the relatively narrow tip and set-back sidecut make it steerable in crud and powder. PLUS: Biased toward the off-piste end of the resort-ski spectrum, it’s well suited for Western resorts with open, chargeable bowls. MINUS: Turns have a flaccid ending. We wanted more pop.
PRICE (MSRP): $925.00
