Blizzard made an interesting choice this year, integrating Flipcore where the core is placed upside down in the mold to use the wood's natural reverse camber into its highest-performing carving skis. First, these skis don't actually have that much rocker, and Blizzard was forced to forgo its successful IQ binding system because of the new Flipcore press process. Head-scratch all you want Blizzard knows what it's doing. The 8.0 is a smooth machine that cranks on hardpack. It's forgiving to a point, but this ski shouldn't be wasted on someone who can't drive it. No. 1 scores in Rebound and Crud Performance.
