Dynafit Zzeus TF-X (2010)
A great one-boot quiver for the sidecountry-and-resort skier, the Zzeus has substantial alpine-boot feel and a wide-ranging walk mode. It’s plenty supportive for general off-trail use and is compatible with alpine bindings and superlight Dynafit bindings. PLUS: The improved fittings on the toe lugs allow for easy step-in with Dynafit bindings. MINUS: Mushes out during hard-snow carving, not that it’s made for that.
