Dynastar 6th Sense Distorter (2010)
Thanks to a powerful tip and a fairly soft tail, the Distorter manages to provide muscle and snap in a turn while still being forgiving. At only 87 millimeters underfoot (it’s one of the skinniest in this category), the Distorter offered a smooth, stable ride while charging down hardpack. Plus: It held an edge even on iced-over groomers. Minus: It dived to the bottom in deep snow.
