Dynastar offers two models in its Neva line of women's all-mountain skis, the 78-mm-waisted Neva 78 and the narrower, more forgiving Neva 74 (74 mm). Both have the lightweight Paulownia wood cores used in most Dynastar women's models. The 78 has a little more power to suit stronger intermediates and less aggressive experts, thanks to full-sidewall laminate construction. The 74 is more forgiving for novices and intermediates with its Autodrive construction - a signature Dynastar combination of vertical sidewalls underfoot for edge grip and softer cap construction toward the tip and tail for softer flex and more forgiving turn entries and exits. Both models are metal-free, with fiberglass-reinforced cores. Both are traditional cambered (no rocker). And both skis are offered either flat or with binding. The Neva 78 XP system version comes with an 11-DIN Look Xpress binding; the Neva 74 XP system version comes with a lighter, less expensive 10-DIN Look Xpress binding.
