Elan Black Magic QT (2013)
With a slight tip rocker, the Black Magic has a shortened contact length that should make it easier to turn on hard snow. It has a wood and synthetic core reinforced with fiberglass to keep it lighter and less expensive, and a QT w/binding system that's said to be less responsive than Elan's Fusion. But the Black Magic has Elan's Waveflex dampening technology that's found in its more advanced skis.
