Maybe it has something to do with the tip’s being substantially narrower than its shovel: The tip dives a bit. No matter. The knifelike tip stayed just below the surface, scribed precise turns through tight trees, and was game for arcing big ’uns on long run-outs. Plus: Excellent powder performance but keeps it together on groomers, too. Minus: Tips begin to wander at high speeds.
