Elan Soul (2013)
All new this year, the Soul has a lightweight wood core reinforced with fiberglass, which should keep it lightweight while maintaining some rigidity. It also gets Elan's Bridge design wood core that's meant to provide torsional rigidity and easily transfer power to the edges. At 95mm underfoot (at 163cm), it has potential to easily go on and off trail as conditions change.
