Elan Speed Magic Fusion (2012)
The top of the line women' s all mountain ski, the Speed Magic features a full race ski construction that should make it a born carver. It' s narrow underfoot (65 mm), with lots of sidecut. Elan says it' s for somebody who likes to make tons of turns on groomed snow. It uses Waveflex Technology for longitudinal flex and torsional rigidity. Waveflex cores use a wave pattern (think corrugated carboard) to keep them flexible longitudinally yet stiff torsionally.
