Two adjectives define the Koa 84: accessible and adaptable. Like the Koa 78, this friendly ride is forgiving enough for intermediates but loved by experts. It rips GS turns with stability and unflappable edge grip, yet it’s soft enough to skid and smear. “It adapts to whatever type of terrain I throw it at,” said one tester. “Could help a timid skier transition to boldness,” said another. Initiation is smooth and thoughtless, and carving is as simple as rolling your ankle.
