Garmont G2 (2010)

With the same snug shell as the Shaman’s (left) but a slightly softer flex, the G2 offers precise fit and power for aggressive every-day resort skiers. Garmont did its homework here, drawing from veteran designers with years of successful race-boot engineering. PLUS: It has an anatomical shell that mimics real foot shape. MINUS: Too bad this boot isn’t better known; it could be a game changer for a wide swath of strong skiers.
