Head I.Peak 82 (2011)
Testers called this ski fun, friendly, and relaxing. It’s less carve-oriented than many in the 72-to-82-millimeter width range but will still grip and come around on anything short of blue ice. It’s a good choice for intermediates ready to venture off groomed snow and mellow experts for whom cruising is king. A unique softer-flexing zone in the tip allows the nose to float over crud before the rest of the ski slices through it. This innovation also worked well while we navigated bumps and trees.
PRICE (MSRP): $1075.00
