K2 A.M.P. Photon (2012)
**Review courtesy of our sister publication SKI Magazine.** Testers worried that a 167 cm would be too short, but the new Photon, a lively, playful frontside cruiser, acquitted itself admirably. The all-glass construction with moderate rocker is eminently agreeable (No. 2 in Forgiveness). High speeds aren' t its strength, but it' s nice to find a ski that behaves so well in short and medium arcs and doesn' t require aggressive forces. A capable bumper; nimble and energetic. "Amazingly stable for such a short length; great ski," said Korman.
