K2 Hardside (2011)
The most versatile model in K2’s Backside series, the HardSide, with its 98-millimeter waist, floats on powder without sacrificing edge-to-edge quickness or carving ability. One tester ski-toured on the HardSide in Antarctica and found it stable, smooth, and powerful in corn, powder, and wind-buffed chalk. It employs the same degree of rocker as the Aftershock, more than the Charger and Rictor, and less than K2’s pure powder skis. Holes in the tip and tail accommodate custom K2 climbing skins (sold separately).
PRICE (MSRP): $875.00
