K2 SuperSweet (2013)
The SuperSweet is the value-priced dedicated learning tool of K2's Supermodels series of frontside-oriented women's all-mountain system skis. Its Catch Free Rocker combines 80 percent camber with 20 percent tip rocker, making the ski easy to pivot and turn at slow speeds for those still learning to carve. It's a simple metal-free, foam-core capped torsion-box construction inexpensive and ultra-light. Available only as a system, it comes with a 10-DIN Marker/K2 ER3 binding. K2's All-Terrain Rocker combines 70 percent camber with 30 percent tip/shovel rocker to smooth the ride, enhance forgiveness and improve soft-snow flotation. Mod Technology features an independently acting secondary core, raised above the deck, to focus power transmission where needed and reduce vibrations for better edge grip and high-speed calm. Mod Monic technology features a strategically placed module to further reduce vibrations. Both Mod structures are optimized for female skiers. The pink ribbon on the base signifies K2's support (at least $75,000 annually) for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
