Completely new this year, the BMX line (Big Mountain Cross) has six models, all with early rise tips, slight camber elsewhere and a rounded tail for a loose, smeary feel. The 78 is the narrowest of the line, built more for on-piste groomed. It, like the rest of the line, has a classic wood core, sandwich, vertical-sidewall construction. The absence of metal should make it damp and relatively forgiving. It has dual Hollowtech-a section of the tip and tail is removed-which reduces swing weight. Sold flat.
