Klint KryptoLite (2013)
All Klint models feature what the brand calls "Reflection Applied Concept," which means that each model's performance characteristics edge contact, flex, running surface, sidecut, etc. are scaled to each available length of that model. Klint claims that this helps adapt those characteristics to each skier's size, weight, and ability. Klint's KryptoLite is a slightly narrower and lighter version of Klint's Krypto (Klint's flagship big-mountain ski). Like the Klint Krytpo and Klint KryptoLite TI, it features "Deep Rocker," which is one of four rocker profiles offered by Klint and is specifically designed for maximum flotation in deep snow. Deep Rocker entails rocker in the front 23% and rear 14% and 2-millimeters (at the max point) of camber in the middle 63%. The Klint KryptoLite has a "multiple-radius design," which is said to give it a longer turn radius in powder and crud and a shorter turn radius on hard snow. The Klint KryptoLite is designed to be a versatile backcountry powder ski.
