Based on Lange’s powerful R11 World Cup shell, the Super Banshee is less stiff and offers freeride tweaks like a shock-absorbent boot board and gel-padded tongue. Its long flex range favors big powerful turns. “Like a big-block V-8 instead of a quick twin turbo,” said one tester. PLUS: Responsive and comfortable for aggressive, all-mountain speed lovers. MINUS: Some testers wished this boot had a more vertical, rather than knees-out, setup.
