Line Prophet 100 (2011)
An old favorite of the test crew, the Prophet 100 is a predictable all-mountain workhorse that impressed us again with its blend of on- and off-trail strengths. The wide, round tip bites into carves and comes around nicely. Responsiveness is high in large-radius turns but, since we’ve skied so many rockered models lately, it feels a little sluggish in trees and tight spots because of its traditional camber. In sum, it’s a powder board that delivers float and predictable handling. Next year, we’d love to see it with rocker.
PRICE (MSRP): $800.00
