Where the Soulrider aims for terrain and snow-type versatility, the narrower Ace is a dedicated competition-level park ski. It's designed to be center mounted, with symmetrical sidecut for optimized performance going forward or backward. And for generating maximum speed and pop off big hits or in the pipe, it's metal-reinforced and traditionally cambered (no rocker), with a fast, durable, high-density base. Nordica's Inspired Freestyle collection includes four models for jibbers, with dystopian graphics to match. All are sold flat, and will range in price from $599 down to $399 in most shops. Waist widths range from 82 mm up to 97 mm, as do intended applications, from dedicated park to general all-mountain. All have full-length vertical sidewalls for solidity on edge and good hard-snow grip. All are built on full wood cores for durability and responsiveness.
