Nordica Amber XCT (2013)
Nordica's Transfire series is made for the advancing intermediate to low-level expert cruiser. The effective sidecut ends farther back than it does in Nordica's sportier Fire Arrow collection. This characteristic, in conjunction with a large, sidecut-free, straight section of the shovel Nordica calls this the "transfer zone" promotes easy, undemanding turn initiation and a relaxed demeanor. Tip rocker promotes easy handling. A touch of tail rocker is intended to allow the ski to release easily from the turn just before turn transition. The women-specific Nordica Amber XCT is a slightly softer version of the Nordica Drive Ca EVO CT, designed to be an easy, comfortable on-piste ride.
