The Badmind is the value-oriented offering in the Freestyle collection, selling for $399 in most shops (flat). It's a wood-core cap construction built for economy and durability. The sloping shoulders of the cap protect the top edges of each ski from abuse by the other ski's edge and also make the ski less edgy and more forgiving. It's a lively, unaggressive, metal-free construction with traditional camber (for positive full-length edge engagement) and a directional (forward-oriented) sidecut. Nordica's Inspired Freestyle collection includes four models for jibbers, with dystopian graphics to match. All are sold flat, and will range in price from $599 down to $399 in most shops. Waist widths range from 82 mm up to 97 mm, as do intended applications, from dedicated park to general all-mountain. All have full-length vertical sidewalls for solidity on edge and good hard-snow grip. All are built on full wood cores for durability and responsiveness.
