The Cinnamon belongs to the Fire Arrow frontside carver collection (Nordica calls it Progressive Front), but to suit women Nordica gives it a drastically different width (ultra-carvy 72) and construction. Its carbon-fiber-reinforced core consists of foam-surrounding tip-to-tail strips of wood (or "stringers"), designed to yield the benefits of wood (durability, lively rebound, structural integrity) without adding too much weight or expense. The tip also has a less-aggressive (less-"hooky") sidecut radius than the men's. Nordica builds its Progressive Front collection for speed-loving piste technicians in search of maximum precision and edgy power. All are full-sidewall laminate constructions with carve-ready sidecuts, grippy traditional camber, and groomer-optimized waist widths (80 and 84 mm for the men's models; 72 mm on the women's Cinnamon Girl). Nordica's Rapid Race tip borrows from its World Cup skis, with a sharp, extended sidecut in the tip for instantaneous hookup. That's tempered by a touch of tip-rocker for line-adjusting drift when you want it (racers call it "stivot"). All models have full wood cores and fast, high-density bases. All are sold with bindings.
