Don’t let the Dead Money’s light, jibby feel fool you. It can absolutely rail on groomers. Not surprisingly, it received high marks in hard-snow performance and maneuverability. And the stable platform helped when testers stepped on the gas. The nimble shorter lengths zip through bumps Plus: Attacks ice like a race ski. Minus: Its skinny 86-millimeter waist means it doesn’t apply that same tenacity to pow and crud.
