“Makes bad snow good,” said one tester. If only. But this damp ski mowed down crud, frozen ice chunks, and hardpack with equal aplomb. Voted best overall in the category, the Girish proved to be a true big-mountain GS board that exploded from one turn to the next with no top speed. Plus: Quick and easy to turn in rocky, technical sections; excellent hardpack grip. Minus: Too heavy and stiff for smaller skiers.

My Rating:

Well...I'm gonna play by price is right rules and answer 4.5 in this game since 4.25 comes the closest to it without going over.  Good luck to everyone....

My Rating:

Looks like the took the average score from SKI instead.

To all commentors,

Since it is now 9:45 at night and since there have only been 7 of us that have commented on the error of Warren Millers 60 days of giveaways, maybe the companies involved will give the 7 of us the prize since we spoke up.

I know that in my job if I embarrassed my company in this manner I would at least been written up and maybe fired. Then my company would put their tail between their legs, give the customers the benefit of the doubt, and give them what was promised. Let's all hope that these multi million companies do what’s right and hook us up with the advertised prize.

Since the 7 of us also researched the question I feel that it would only be correct for the companies involved to give each of us a pair of Nordica Girish along with the advertised prize. I know if that was the resolution of this error I would greatly respect the companies involved and speech highly of all involved.

I hope all I have said is taken in the constructive manner in which it was written and that the right thing is done.

What's up with this? Looks like someone messed up the answers for today's question!

Is it that hard to double check the four choices to make sure they are right?

My Rating:

It is just a somebody's overlooked typo.  They will probably accept all entries today!!

My Rating:

Oh well....I guess nobody is going to Stowe on Ski Magazine's dime.  That's probably why they didn't offer any of the right answers to choose.  They should give all of us the prize!!

My Rating:

The types of mistakes they've made so far in this contest have landed companies in disciplinary actions by the Federal Trade Commission and various state courts and regulatory agencies, regardless of the 'fine print' in their disclaimers. Needless to say, employees have been fired over such things, not to mention very large fines paid out by the companies involved.

Surprisingly, the only email responses from the people running this contest have been along the lines of, "...gee whiz, we're new at this and doing the best we can"   (in other words, tough luck, we don't have to comply with federal and state regulations).

For their sake, hope nobody calls up the NY Attorney General or thinks about a class action settlement.  While the prize values are very low, it doesn't take much to trigger a lot of trouble by people playing in this complex area.

My Rating:

agreed, a question with no answers

My Rating:

nope, none of the answers offered are  the correct one!

Am I just crazy or does this info not match any of todays options on Warren Millers 60 days of giveaways ??
