A lightweight boot that goes everywhere, does everything, fits easy without jamming toes and slips on and off with ease. Testers liked much about this versatile all-mountain player. It is upright, tall, roomy in the toebox and absolutely ready to rip. The boot fits high on the leg, testers said, so it loads a lot of power to the ski and maintains a stable attitude through variable snow and terrain. Our taller, stronger women particularly liked this set-up. Testers thought the lateral power was there in full with strong edge grip through turns. Notably, this power boot is fairly light as both the lower and upper boot are constructed of Nordica's Triax plastic, a weight-shaving material used on its previous hike mode boots. Testers also liked the initial fit of the new liner, noting that it provided smooth, even containment with a cushioned feel around the foot. It is a somewhat wide-side medium but with enough backbone to stand up to a pounding. The 105 flex can be backed down to a 95 and testers said the softer setting combined well with the light feel of the boot to turn it into a comfortable cruiser. Tester Comments: "Initial feel was very comfy. It was laterally agile and stable." "The stability and power gave confidence to really drive into turns."
