The Phenom doesn' t chintz on materials, either: It boasts a wood core under its load-bearing capCK, which lends surprising stability for so lightweight a ski. It' s a cambered carver with a large comfort zone when venturing off-piste. "Turned easily; light and nimble," said Forland.
