Rossignol S3 Freeride (2011)
The S3 employs AmpTek, a versatile shape that carves groomers effortlessly yet retains the looseness needed for smearing, skidding, and maneuvering easily off the trail. Rockered ends keep it from playing hooky in those dish-shaped spots in the trees. Indeed, testers remarked that trees were where the S3 shone most brightly. It’s narrow enough for quick transitions between GS arcs—its favorite turn shape—but wide enough to float well. The soft tip planed easily in soft, choppy snow.
PRICE (MSRP): $700.00
