Salomon Czar (2010)
If only the Russian feudal system had been this much fun. Exceptionally easy to engage, the Czar’s pronounced tip rocker machs through deep days, and for the two days after deep days. It also allows the ski to pivot and swivel through technical terrain. Moreover, the tail of the ski retains enough sack for straightlining. Plus: Stable, even while crushing broken snow. Minus: The tip is floppy on harder snow; doesn’t shine at lower speeds.
PRICE (MSRP): $950.00
