But on the RX Salomon uses a cap construction instead of a vertical-sidewall laminate construction. So you' d expect it to be a little less demanding, and it is (No. 1 in Forgiveness). But it also holds its own on the hardpack, and because it' s the widest in the category it' s also No. 1 in both Flotation and Crud. (Rocker helps there, too.)
