Salomon Origins Intense Black + Z10 Ti B80 (2012)
The Intense is the high-speed, hard-snow frontside carver of the Origins line-similar in construction to the Bamboo, but in a narrower, grippier waist width that will bite on ice. It' s a wood-core, double-monocoque (structural cap) construction, with a two-layer cap spanning edge to edge for enhanced power. Salomon' s All-Terrain Rocker combines zero camber with a rockered tip, so it will be buoyant in soft snow and smooth-riding in rough terrain, yet still responsive on the groomed. The Intense is available only as a system ski , with the Z10 Ti binding, which has a maximum DIN of 10.
