Salomon Shogun (2010)
Another rockered-tip ski, the soft-snow-oriented Shogun is steerable and flows nicely from turn to turn. In junk and powder, when the upturned tip is in contact with the snow, it is nimble and stable. PLUS: Straightline through junk without worrying about the tips diving. MINUS: For off-piste use only. Without powder or crud, the front third of the ski hovers above the snow, making turn initiation unpredictable.
PRICE (MSRP): $925.00
