Scarpa Domina (2010)

You can spend the day in your Dominas and you’ll forget you’re wearing them. Thanks to a light yet rigid Pebax shell, they’re perfect for touring, out-the-gate bootpacking, or mellow inbounds skiing. A hinged tongue, walk/ski mode, and Vibram sole make them ideal for backcountry freeriding. PLUS: Swap out the tongue to increase the stiffness by 20 percent. MINUS: It doesn’t deliver the same boot-to-ski power as a pure alpine boot.
