Scott Powd' Air (2013)
The Powd' Air is the widest ski in Scott's Mountain series, a collection of AT/Randonee-oriented models. Scott uses carbon laminates to keep this wood-core, vertical sidewall construction light. It features a moderate dose of tip rocker--375 mm in length--for improved float and a loose feel in soft snow. The 3D Carbon Frame has cutaway sections in the topsheet that reveal the carbon-fiber layer below, giving the ski a distinctive look.
