Stöckli Laser SX (2014)
The Laser SX is a skiercross-inspired design. It's a race-bred construction for carve enthusiasts, with a sidecut radius that splits the difference between slalom and GS for versatile medium-radius arcs on hard, flat snow. Its waist is slightly wider than the Laser SL or Laser GS. The Laser Series includes six models of Stockli's highest-performing frontside precision carvers, incorporating race-inspired technologies in detuned constructions appropriate to resort conditions. All are built on ultra-narrow waist widths for maximum edge grip and edge-to-edge quickness on hard snow. All are wood-core constructions, for dampness, responsiveness and durability, with full-length vertical sidewalls for optimized edging, and Stockli's fastest high-density graphite race bases. All are metal-reinforced for high-speed calm, using two sheets of Titanal alloy. Stockli Skis, now 75 years old and under its third generation of family ownership, is based in Wohusen, Switzerland, near Lucerne.
