Tecnica Attiva Pro 100 (2010)
This was the stiffest and most powerful women’s boot we tested, but it was still shockingly comfortable. It drives a GS turn like a race boot but isn’t as rigid—advanced skiers won’t be overpowered. It didn’t chatter on hardpack or on big-mountain terrain. It’s best for ex-racers who charge powder and crud. plus: Easy in and out, thanks to a slippery liner. minus: The narrow toe box could freeze your toes on cold days.
