Völkl Attiva AC3 Titanium (2007)
Strikingly similar to its much-praised brother, the Völkl AC4 (see One-Ski Quiver Expert reviews, page 72): unreal edge grip, not a hint of insecurity when tipped over, a preference for medium-radius turns, and a serious hunger for speed. GRIPES: Stiff tails can be tricky to release at the end of the turn for non-dynamic skiers. PROPS: A true expert ski with no upper limit. Push the AC3 as hard as you can. TESTER’S TAKE: "Strong enough for a man, but light enough for a woman." —Karen Nestor
PRICE (MSRP): $1065.00
